Young Soul Rebels – War Child Song

Offiicial video for ‘I Got Soul’ – War Child’s single recorded by the ‘Young Soul Rebels’

The track, a new, re-written version of the stirring Killers anthem “All These Things That I’ve Done”, will be released on October 19th on Island Records. Proceeds go to help War Child’s vital work protecting children from the brutal effects of war.

The Young Soul Rebels are:
N-Dubz
Pixie Lott
Tinchy Stryder
Frankmusik
V.V. Brown
Kid British
Chipmunk
Mpho
McLean
Ironik
Domino Go
Bashy
Egypt
London Community Gospel Choir

I don’t believe they killed the original as I’m a huge fan of the killers, but this is a good version of the song and it shows variation throughout.

Record Of The Week: Coldplay – Strawberry Swing

Amazing song and video!

Record Of The Week (Sugababes – Get Sexy)

I know this is a ladies song but the sugababes are back after a short break with a catchy song. I believe this will suit well in the dance club scenes through out August, and also doing well in the UK charts.

“When Love Takes Over” CD Cover

David Guetta - When Love Takes Over (Official Single Cover)

I love this CD art cover of David Guetta’s latest single. This gives me the inspiration to use this style with my tangram letters. http://www.tingmao.co.uk/

I would appreciate if someone can tell me who designed this cover, please. Thank you.

Blackberry Loves U2

Over the past few months, the best phone out in the market are the Blackberry and the iPhone. I love this new ad with U2, it’s similar to Coldplay’s endorsement for Apple iTunes.

T In The Park 2009

sunday

Another amazing music festival of 2009. Coverages from BB3 through out the past weekend. If you missed any performances, catch up here.

T in the Park is a major music festival that has been held annually in Scotland since 1994. It is named after its main sponsor, the brewing company Tennents. It was originally held at Strathclyde Park, but since 1997 has been held at a disused airfield in Balado, in Perth and KinrossScotland. T in the Park was originally a two-day festival but since 2007 has taken place over three days, and introduced in 2008 was the chance to upgrade a weekend camping ticket to allow camping access on the Thursday – the day before any musicians performed. The festival is promoted by Big Day Out. It takes place on the same weekend as Oxegen in Ireland and shares a very similar line-up each year.

As well as the main seven stages of music, there are large camping areas to cater for the majority of festival-goers who stay for the duration of the event. There are also various concession stalls and shops provided, as well as other attractions, such as a large funfair, complete with Big Wheel.
